The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua & The Residential Suites at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua

In February 2006, a Gencom-led partnership purchased The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, a 463-room property in the heart of Maui‘s Kapalua Resort. Just north of the whaling town, Lahaina, The Kapalua Resort is Hawaii‘s premier golf destination, boasting three championship golf courses. Its pristine 50-acre beachfront site at the base of the West Maui Mountains offers commanding views of the north Maui coast, Molakai and the Pacific Ocean. In addition, the resort houses The Ritz-Carlton Club Level suites, which offer guests an added level of privacy and exclusivity with the personal attention of a dedicated concierge staff and five daily complimentary food and beverage services.

A $160 million dollar multi-phase renovation of the property commenced in mid-2007 and was recently re-opened with the newly designed guestsrooms that incorporate indigenous design elements that reflect the rich cultural, artistic and historic traditions of Hawaii.
